Trip to Tianjin for work in 07's Autumn. Tianjin is famous of it's traditional handicrafts, especially NIREN ZHANG as shown below.

[ The place where the Emperor crossed the river — Tianjin has had a dramatic history of foreign invasion and occupation. Occupying countries sliced it like a pie: Italy, Germany, France, Russia, Great Britain, Austria, Japan and Belgium. Today all that remains of the old foreign concessions are some scattered old villas, some gracefully restored, others serviing as mult-family homes or schools. And the city rushes to rebuild itself in the image of the New China.

Jinmen Guli is actually a street named Gu Wehua Jie. The buildings on both sides of this street imitate the architectural style of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Stores along this street offer jade, antiques and traditional handicrafts; especially famous are Niren Zhang (clay figurines).The art of making painted clay figurines was created by Zhang Mingshan over 140 years ago. Zhang was so skillful and quick in making clay figures and his impromptu figurines were so life-like that he was given the nickname "Niren Zhang (Clay Figurine Zhang)." ]

深夜在路辺買回両个小烏亀。

小時候曾養過一个白鼠，一个麻雀，一个壁虎，可是所謂的飼養，并无異于温柔的囚禁和殺死。
烏亀或許是在城市里能養活的所有寵物中，最不用担心必須要告別的動物了巴？

可是无知的我却，在讓它們享受充分日光浴的美好期望中 / 在我令人髪指的懶覚中，熱死了其中之一。
或者，我甯愿相信，它是因為在遇見我之前所遇到的捕亀人的非亀的対待而過度虚弱而死。

余下的一个，名字叫 nn，背負着不要先我而死的期許，頑強的活着。

由1200多張 Google Earth 全屏截図組合而成的上海區域影像地図。原文件為包含中心城區（含中環）詳図及整体區域図，大小20000x30000像素，分辨率約900m@1024x768像素，4Gb的PSD文件。本人用一周時間親自作成。

I merged over 1200 full-screen-snapshots from Google Earth in a week and get this regional atlas image of shanghai. Original file is in PSD format at a size of 20000x30000pixels.

2007年夏，麗江旅行。

[ Lijiang, the district's government seat, is an old city in beautiful surroundings in northwest Yunnan. It is situated on a plateau at an elevation of 2,600m and is impressive because of its scenery and lush vegetation.

The people of Naxi, while developing their land of snow-clad mountains and turbulent rivers since ancient times, have to their credit the "Dong Ba Culture" seen as one of the world wonders, a culture all-embracing while unique.

Lijiang Town is officially called "Dayan Town"-- "Dayan" literally means a "great inkstab", a graphic description of the town's location on a piece of rich flatland fed by a river and surrounded by green mountains. There is no other town in China like Dayan which incorporates the folkways of so many people and the architectural styles of both north and south China. Some say that Lijiang is not unique just because it is unique in too many ways-- how true this is. ]

2007年夏，昆明旅行。

[ Kunming, which is situated in central Yunnan and north of the Dianchi Basin, is skirted on three sides by mountains, with one side opening onto the Dianchi Lake. The city is nicknamed "City of Spring" due to the fact that it is covered all the year round with the rich verdure of trees and plants. Endowed with a pleasant climate, the city's 15,000 square kilometers of land is adorned with more than 400 kinds of flowers. ]
